Christmas In the Park & Peppermint Walk
Family Fun in Marion with Christmas in the Park and Peppermint Walk! Join us for this annual celebration on Friday, December 2 from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. in City Square Park. We will welcome Santa and Mrs. Claus escorted by the Marion Fire Department and Police Department.
Marion will shine brighter this holiday season when the new community peace tree is lit during a special tree lighting ceremony at 6:00 p.m. Participants in the Marion Leadership in Action have raised funds for the Marion Chamber Foundation which funds community beautification projects like Winter Lights. The purchase of Marion’s new tree was made possible with donations by the business community, residents, Marion City Council, and attendees to events like Holiday Movies and Oktoberfest. |
