MARION OKTOBERFEST Brewer Information

Welcome to Marion Oktoberfest! In its first year, this signature event featured 27 breweries and attracted over 550 beer lovers.
Oktoberfest is a fun afternoon where attendees can sample a wide variety of beer brands and styles from the best breweries in Iowa and surrounding areas, and brewery reps enjoy being on hand to educate beer fans.

• Stipend - we offer a $150 stipend to all breweries that agree to sample their brews at our event.
• Marion Oktoberfest will provide the following: 10 x 10 booth space, 1 6ft table, 2 employee wristbands, lunch for two employees, bucket & spray bottle, ice throughout the event​

Application Procedure
Please read all information and apply below. Applications are considered on a first-come, first-served basis. Marion Oktoberfest reserves the right to make the final decision on acceptance to the event.

Insurance
Breweries are requested to submit a valid certificate of liability insurance. Breweries must maintain a minimum of $1M per occurrence/$2M aggregate policy. Marion Chamber of Commerce should be listed as the Certificate Holder:

Rules and Regulations

• Only give samples to event attendees with a Marion Oktoberfest wristband
• Samples are 2oz and should not exceed
  
• All brewery reps must attend a general meeting prior to event opening
  

Ice & Supplies
Brewers will be provided with:

• Ice throughout the event at no cost
• One 5 gal bucket and spray bottle ​

Stipend
Breweries will receive a $150 stipend for participation payable the day of the event.

Set-up
Set-up time will begin at 9:00 am on Saturday, September 21, 2024. Brewers will be able to drive into the vendor area to drop supplies then will need to relocate vehicles. Brewers are responsible for own set-up including equipment and tent. One 6ft table will be provided. Tear down will need to be complete by 4:00 pm.

Brewers have the opportunity to win a People's Choice award as voted by attendees. And don't forget your lederhosen or dirndl, awards for the Most Festive Booth determined by Oktoberfest volunteers.

Attendees will also enjoy food, music, and traditional Oktoberfest games like stein holding and hammerschlagen.
