MARION OKTOBERFEST

Enjoy a fun afternoon sampling a wide variety of beer brands and styles at the 2025 Marion Oktoberfest. The event features the best breweries in Iowa and surrounding areas. Reps will be on hand to visit with and educate beer enthusiasts!
The festival will take place on 7th Avenue in the heart of Marion's historic district, Uptown Marion. Each attendee will receive a commemorative tasting glass, access to samples, and complementary water. Music and games, traditional stein holding contest, hammerschlagen, and awards for best dressed! Attendees must be 21 years of age or older to participate, IDs will be scanned at the entrance to the event. |

Hammerschlagen
What is hammerschlagen? This is a fun, German game in which several contestants try to hammer a nail into a stump. There are rules. It's harder than you think! Join us in Celebration Tent and give it a swing. |
Stein Holding Contest
Think you can outlast the competition? The contest will have a Men's and Women's category. All steins will be of equal weight and stature. Join in the fun at 12:30, 1:30, and 2:30 pm in the tent. |
Keg Rolling
Only the bold barrel into battle. Step up for the Keg Rolling Contest at Oktoberfest — where strength, speed, and a little beer-fueled bravado go head-to-head. Bragging rights (and maybe a few blisters) are on the line! |
