The Marion Chamber of Commerce has further invested in Shop Where I Live to make the Marion site FREE for all member businesses to participate through the end of July, and possibly extended for another year.
Each member business can list up to 25 items in their shops at no monthly cost. The Marion Chamber is underwriting the cost for our members in an effort to support the business community during this difficult time in our history.
Members can sell products, services, gift cards, virtual products, to-go orders, and more through the platform. There’s no commission on orders, just a processing fee of 2.9% + $.30 per transaction (similar to most in-store processing), and Shop Where I Live will still be there to support you and help with your shop, as needed.
If you're already selling on the site, your monthly or annual fees will be suspended or extended throughout this timeframe, and you'll hear from Shop Where I Live about your specific subscription. If you already have an e-commerce site, this is another opportunity to take advantage of the traffic coming into this site looking to support local businesses, and it can link back to your web store for checkout.
