The Marion Chamber is proud to announce a new signature event! Enjoy a fun afternoon sampling a wide variety of beer brands and styles from the best breweries in Iowa and surrounding areas. Presented by Sheets Forrest Draper Insurance.

The 2022 Oktoberfest will feature 27 breweries bringing a variety of styles. Brewery reps will be on hand to visit with and educate fans on their beers.

The festival will take place in Uptown Marion on 7th Avenue and City Square Park. Each attendee will receive a commemorative tasting glass, access to samples, and complementary water. Music and games, traditional stein holding contest and hammerschlagen, in City Square Park at Celebration Tent!

Attendees must be 21 years of age or older to participate, IDs will be scanned at the entrance to the event.

Tickets

General Admission : $40 includes access to brewers beginning at Noon, official Oktoberfest tasting glass, and participation in games at Celebration Tent

VIP: $50 includes 11:00 am access to brewers including limited run offerings and swag items, premium Oktoberfest tasting glass, and participation in games at Celebration Tent

This is a rain or shine event, sorry no refunds.

Tickets will be on sale until Friday, September 16 at 5:00 pm. General Admission tickets will be available at the door, while supplies last.

Stein Holding Contest
Think you can outlast the competition? The contest will have a Men's and Women's category. All steins will be of equal weight and stature. Join in the fun at 12:30, 1:30, and 2:30 pm in the tent.

Hammerschlagen
What is hammerschlagen? This is a fun, German game in which several contestants try to hammer a nail into a stump. There are rules. It's harder than you think! Join us in Celebration Tent and give it a swing.
